As a Marine Warranty Surveyor, you will be responsible for assessing and validating marine operations, providing crucial support to projects ranging from exploration to decommissioning.


Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews and assessments of marine operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety protocols in the challenging North Sea environment.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to evaluate and approve marine-related procedures, equipment, and plans.
  • Perform on-site inspections and surveys to verify the implementation of approved procedures and assess potential risks.
  • Provide expert advice on matters related to marine operations, offering proactive solutions to mitigate risks and enhance safety measures.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and reports to facilitate transparent communication and record-keeping
Experience

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Proven experience as a Marine Warranty Surveyor, demonstrating expertise in assessing marine operations in the North Sea region.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK, Scandinavian, or EU North Sea safety requirements and regulations.
  • Familiarity with relevant qualifications, such as the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) certification or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex marine scenarios and propose effective risk management strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Desirable Experience: While not essential, candidates with additional experience in specific marine sectors, such as offshore wind or oil and gas, will be highly regarded.
