- Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between the operating company and offshore personnel, fostering positive relationships and ensuring effective communication.
- Project Oversight: Monitor and oversee offshore operations to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and audits to guarantee the quality of work performed offshore, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
- Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring all activities align with UK, Scandinavian, and EU North Sea safety requirements.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any challenges or discrepancies that may arise during offshore operations, working collaboratively with all stakeholders.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of offshore activities, including daily reports, incident reports, and project documentation.
- Offshore Experience: Proven experience in offshore roles, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and dynamics of the North Sea environment.
- Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with UK, Scandinavian, and EU North Sea safety requirements and regulations, with a strong commitment to promoting and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in engineering, project management, or a related field. Certification in offshore safety, such as BOSIET, is highly desirable.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring smooth project operations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and offshore personnel.
