- Conducting pre-operational checks on cranes and associated equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborating with rigging crews and other personnel to execute lifting operations in a safe and coordinated manner.
- Monitoring and maintaining equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Adhering to emergency response procedures and participating in safety drills as required.
To be considered for these positions, candidates should ideally possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Proven experience as a Crane Operator in the offshore industry, with a focus on the North Sea region.
- Familiarity with UK, Scandinavian, or EU North Sea safety requirements and regulations.
- Certification in offshore crane operations, such as OPITO-approved competence assessments.
- Knowledge of crane maintenance practices and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- High regard for safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Desirable: While not essential, the following attributes will be considered advantageous:
- Additional certifications in rigging and slinging.
- Familiarity with specific crane models commonly used in the North Sea region.
- Training in advanced lifting techniques.
