Offshore Geotechnical Jobs in the North Sea

We are currently recruiting for multiple Offshore Geotechnical positions on behalf of major operating companies in the North Sea, spanning the UK, Scandinavia, and the EU. As a vital team member, you will be contributing to groundbreaking projects that are shaping the future of offshore operations in one of the most challenging and dynamic environments globally.


Responsibilities
  • Conduct geotechnical investigations and assessments to support offshore projects, including site surveys, soil sampling, and laboratory testing.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to provide geotechnical input for the design and installation of structures such as platforms, pipelines, and subsea systems.
  • Interpret and analyse geotechnical data to assess seabed conditions and inform engineering decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and North Sea safety requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the preparation of geotechnical reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in offshore campaigns and liaise with contractors to ensure the successful execution of fieldwork.
Experience
  • Proven experience in offshore geotechnical engineering, with a focus on North Sea projects.
  • Familiarity with UK, Scandinavian, or EU North Sea safety requirements and regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of geotechnical investigation techniques, soil mechanics, and geotechnical design principles.
  • Experience in using relevant software tools for data analysis and interpretation.
  • Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Postgraduate qualifications will be advantageous.
  • Professional accreditation with recognized engineering institutions is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
