Offshore HSE and QHSE Advisors - Exciting Opportunities with Leading North Sea Operating Companies

Are you passionate about ensuring the safety and well-being of offshore operations in the challenging North Sea environment? We are currently seeking dynamic professionals to join multiple major operating companies in the UK, Scandinavia, and the EU in various Offshore HSE and QHSE roles. As a key team member, you will play a crucial role in shaping and maintaining a culture of safety excellence in one of the most vital and complex sectors in the energy industry.


Responsibilities
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage potential risks associated with offshore operations, implementing proactive measures to enhance safety protocols.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory standards and company policies, keeping abreast of changes and updates in the UK, Scandinavian, and EU North Sea safety requirements.
  • Emergency Response Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans, conducting regular drills to ensure preparedness for any unforeseen incidents.
  • HSE Training and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver effective HSE training programs. Foster open communication channels to encourage the reporting of safety concerns and incidents.
  • Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into safety incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor HSE performance, providing regular reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Experience
  • Qualifications: A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Health, Safety, or Environmental Management.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with North Sea offshore safety regulations and guidelines, including those specific to the UK, Scandinavia, and the EU.
  • Certifications: Desirable certifications include NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Proven experience in offshore HSE roles, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges posed by North Sea operations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyse complex situations, identify solutions, and implement effective risk mitigation measures.
