As an Offshore Offline Surveyor, you will play a critical role in conducting detailed post-processing of survey data collected from offshore operations, adhering to UK standards and regulations.


Responsibilities
  • Conduct post-processing of offshore survey data, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Utilize specialized software and tools to process and interpret survey data.
  • Verify and validate survey data, resolving any discrepancies or errors.
  • Collaborate with offshore survey teams to ensure data quality and completeness.
  • Generate detailed bathymetric and geophysical survey charts and reports.
  • Produce accurate as-built surveys and charts for offshore infrastructure projects.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of offshore survey operations.
  • Monitor and maintain survey equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work closely with project managers and clients to deliver high-quality survey products.
  • Comply with UK regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Experience
  • Substantial experience as an Offshore Offline Surveyor or in a similar role in the UK offshore industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of UK hydrographic survey standards and regulations, including IHO S-44 and UKOOA Guidelines.
  • Proficiency in survey data processing software and tools relevant to marine applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to process and interpret bathymetric and geophysical survey data accurately.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills to validate and verify survey data.
  • Relevant qualifications in surveying or a related field recognised in the UK.
  • Experience with multibeam and single-beam sonar data processing is advantageous.
  • Physical fitness and adaptability to work in the challenging offshore environment.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities to liaise with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively under varying weather conditions.
