As an Offshore Offline Surveyor, you will play a critical role in conducting detailed post-processing of survey data collected from offshore operations, adhering to UK standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

Conduct post-processing of offshore survey data, ensuring accuracy and precision.
Utilize specialized software and tools to process and interpret survey data.
Verify and validate survey data, resolving any discrepancies or errors.
Collaborate with offshore survey teams to ensure data quality and completeness.
Generate detailed bathymetric and geophysical survey charts and reports.
Produce accurate as-built surveys and charts for offshore infrastructure projects.
Assist in the planning and execution of offshore survey operations.
Monitor and maintain survey equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Work closely with project managers and clients to deliver high-quality survey products.
Comply with UK regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Experience

Substantial experience as an Offshore Offline Surveyor or in a similar role in the UK offshore industry.
Thorough knowledge of UK hydrographic survey standards and regulations, including IHO S-44 and UKOOA Guidelines.
Proficiency in survey data processing software and tools relevant to marine applications.
Demonstrated ability to process and interpret bathymetric and geophysical survey data accurately.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills to validate and verify survey data.
Relevant qualifications in surveying or a related field recognised in the UK.
Experience with multibeam and single-beam sonar data processing is advantageous.
Physical fitness and adaptability to work in the challenging offshore environment.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities to liaise with cross-functional teams and clients.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively under varying weather conditions.
