Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of offshore projects, ensuring adherence to UK regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for successful project implementation.
  • Oversee offshore operations, equipment, and personnel to ensure safe and efficient execution.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement timely resolutions.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers to maintain effective communication throughout projects.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies for offshore operations.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure technical compliance and sound project engineering.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive project reports to stakeholders and management.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on offshore projects.
Experience
  • Substantial experience as an Offshore Project Engineer or a similar role in the UK offshore industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK regulatory standards for offshore projects, including CDM Regulations and UKOOA Guidelines.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in developing project plans, budgets, and risk management strategies.
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field recognised in the UK.
  • Experience in offshore construction, installation, or renewable energy projects is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to thrive in the challenging offshore environment.
  • Physical fitness and adaptability to work in offshore conditions, adhering to UK safety standards.
