Responsibilities

Lead the planning and execution of offshore projects, ensuring adherence to UK regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for successful project implementation.
Oversee offshore operations, equipment, and personnel to ensure safe and efficient execution.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement timely resolutions.
Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers to maintain effective communication throughout projects.
Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies for offshore operations.
Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure technical compliance and sound project engineering.
Prepare and present comprehensive project reports to stakeholders and management.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on offshore projects.

Experience

Substantial experience as an Offshore Project Engineer or a similar role in the UK offshore industry.
In-depth knowledge of UK regulatory standards for offshore projects, including CDM Regulations and UKOOA Guidelines.
Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies and tools.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in developing project plans, budgets, and risk management strategies.
Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field recognised in the UK.
Experience in offshore construction, installation, or renewable energy projects is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to make informed decisions under pressure.
A proactive and adaptable approach to thrive in the challenging offshore environment.
Physical fitness and adaptability to work in offshore conditions, adhering to UK safety standards.
