Responsibilities

As a member of the offshore rigging team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Equipment Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of rigging equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow team members, following established procedures and communication protocols to ensure smooth and safe rigging operations.
  • Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond effectively to emergency situations, following established safety protocols and procedures.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of rigging activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Experience

The ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience:

  1. Rigging Certification: A recognized rigging certification demonstrating proficiency in rigging operations.
  2. Offshore Experience: Proven experience in offshore rigging operations, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges posed by the North Sea environment.
  3. Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with and adherence to typical UK, Scandinavian, or EU North Sea safety requirements and regulations.
  4. Technical Competence: Proficient in the use and maintenance of rigging equipment, with a keen attention to detail.
  5. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess and troubleshoot rigging issues efficiently, contributing to the overall success of offshore operations.

Desirable:

  • Additional certifications related to offshore safety and emergency response.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software for rigging operations.
