- Relevant safety certifications and qualifications, such as NEBOSH or equivalent.
- Emergency response and crisis management experience in an offshore environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.

Desirable but not essential qualifications and knowledge include:
- Offshore survival and medical certifications.
